A Registered Nursing and Residential Home of 110 residential and higher need beds including a separate unit dedicated to dementia care. The Home holds full Dementia Accreditation from Hertfordshire County Council Contracts Unit. Accommodation available to both male and female Service Users.
The Home was purpose built in 2001 and the 110 single bedrooms all exceed 12 square meters and provide complete ensuite facilities with either bath or shower. They are delightfully furbished with fitted furniture and a variety of floor coverings. Service Users are encouraged to personalize their rooms to make them feel at home. Each room has a radio and television aerial and a nurse call system.
The Home is situated in a pleasant residential area about one mile from the centre of Hemel Hempstead with public and private transport services nearby. There is a small precinct of local shops, including a post office, branch library and church and pub nearby.
